Dens-A-Can International pioneered densification with the first commercially built can densifier in 1981. Dens-A-Can has refined its product line to date with four densifier models: DAC 600, 800, 1200, and 3000. The collective processing range of the four models is from 600 to 3,400 pounds per hour when processing aluminum cans, and 1,020 to 5,000 pounds per hour in steel/food beverage. All Dens-A-Can densifiers are approved by Alcoa and the other leading smelters. Dens-A-Can densifiers also meet or exceed the Steel Can Recycling Institute's recommended specification of 75 pounds per cubic foot for processing steel food containers.

Dens-A-Can also makes glass breakers, master can buyers, modular conveyor/separator systems, surge/storage hoppers and custom designed systems.
